The Finance Minister, Shri KN Balagopal, announced today that the state government is set to initiate cruise ship services from Beypore next year. This decision comes as a result of increased funding allocated for dredging activities at the port. Shri Balagopal made this announcement during the inauguration of the third edition of the four-day Beypore International Water Fest (BIWF) at Beypore Marina Beach.

In a groundbreaking first for the state, the third edition of the four-day Beypore International Water Fest (BIWF), kicking off tomorrow (December 26) in Beypore, will feature an awe-inspiring drone light show amid its vibrant festivities. The show, scheduled for December 28 and 29 at Beypore Marina Beach from 7 pm, will showcase the talents of a New Delhi-based IIT startup, deploying a staggering 250 drones. BIWF, renowned for its celebration of water sports and entertainment leading up to the New Year, is set to captivate audiences with this innovative spectacle.
