Anyone can visit the pavilion set up by Kerala Tourism at Putharikandam in Thiruvananthapuram as part of Keraleeyam festival and in the backwaters, one can also explore a virtual boating, watch elephant herds up close and personal moving gracefully in the forest area in Thekkady and can feel the heat of live parasailing over Kovalam beach.
The pavilion that leveraged the hugeopportunityin terms of digital technology to highlightthe panoramic nature of Keralain all its appeal and the diversity in culture that it has been an important factor in luring a stable stream of visitors from the time the show opened on Tuesday.
Stimulating the show additionally, the visitors can try out online games and take part in a live quiz competition at the main pavilion as well as other venues of Keraleeyam.
Shri P A Mohamed Riyas, the Tourism Minister, Kerala,went last evening to the pavilion and exchanged thoughts with the children and youth present there on the occasion, who showed theirgratitude of the attractiveness and the inter-active style of the show. A visit to the pavilion for a change has got turned into a live experience with a Virtual Reality hub and an LED Corridor.
