Kempinski Hotels expands in Dubai, rebranding two iconic properties in partnership with Abu Dhabi National Hotels, effective 1 January 2024.
Kempinski Hotels is poised to significantly increase its presence in Dubai, thanks to a new agreement with Abu Dhabi National Hotels. This collaboration will see two renowned properties undergo a rebranding. Beginning 1 January 2024, Kempinski The Boulevard Dubai and Kempinski Central Avenue Dubai will raise the Kempinski banner, previously known as Address Boulevard and Address Dubai Mall, respectively. This expansion enhances Kempinski’s footprint in Dubai, a location that emerged as a top performer for the luxury hotel group in 2023.
René Nijhof, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Kempinski S.A., expresses enthusiasm about this pivotal development. He remarks, “This expansion is a testament to Kempinski’s growing influence as a premier luxury hotel brand in the Middle East. Our long-standing presence in the United Arab Emirates since the late 1990s, known for exceptional quality and service, sets the stage for continued growth across the region in 2024 and beyond, especially following a record-breaking year.”
Kempinski The Boulevard Dubai, soaring 72 floors, stands as a symbol of opulence in Downtown Dubai, in proximity to landmarks like Dubai Mall, Dubai Opera, and Burj Khalifa. The hotel offers 198 sophisticated rooms and suites, along with a selection of chic residences. The interiors, adorned in neutral contemporary décor, mirror Dubai’s modern elegance. Each room combines luxury furnishings, original art pieces, and cutting-edge technology, offering stunning views.
The hotel’s dining experience redefines elegance with a variety of settings including The Living Room, The Kitchen, The Collection Room, and The Dining Room, complemented by private dining spaces and an outdoor terrace.
A 760-square-meter spa at Kempinski The Boulevard Dubai offers a serene retreat. It features a range of rejuvenating treatments, including hammams and signature therapies in salt and steam rooms. Additionally, three pools amidst lush greenery and a comprehensive kids’ club enhance the leisure experience.
Kempinski Hotel Central Avenue Dubai, linked to The Dubai Mall, features 245 luxurious rooms and suites. The rooms, with their refined design and subtle tones, feature artworks, mood lighting, and advanced technology, each boasting a private balcony with views of Downtown Dubai or the city skyline.
The hotel’s dining options include a variety of culinary delights, ranging from modern Middle Eastern dishes to international fare.
The award-winning spa at Kempinski Hotel Central Avenue Dubai offers bespoke wellness treatments in opulent settings, further enhancing the tranquil experience.
During the signing ceremony, key figures such as Khalid Anib, CEO of ADNH, and Sheikh Ahmed Mohammed Sultan Suroor Aldhahiri, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of ADNH, were present alongside René Nijhof and HE Aymen bin Tawfeeq Almoayed, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Kempinski AG.
René Nijhof comments on the new hotels, highlighting Kempinski’s 26-year legacy in the Middle East as a blend of Arabian luxury and European elegance. Khalid Anib of ADNH also expresses pride in partnering with Kempinski, known for its exemplary European hospitality.
The addition of these two hotels complements Kempinski’s existing Dubai portfolio, which includes Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates and Kempinski Hotel & Residences Palm Jumeirah. Looking ahead, Kempinski Residences The Creek Dubai, set to open in 2025, will be the region’s first standalone Kempinski private residences.
