SWISS is set to expand its short-haul route network in the upcoming 2024 summer schedules. The newly introduced summer services include flights between Zurich and Bremen, marking an extension of the existing winter service to the North German city. Additionally, Oslo will be incorporated into SWISS’s Geneva-based network, along with the introduction of summer services on the existing Geneva-Copenhagen and Geneva-Stockholm routes.
Expressing enthusiasm about the expansion, Tamur Goudarzi Pour, SWISS Chief Commercial Officer, stated, “We are delighted to broaden our array of European destinations, offering our customers an even wider selection of air travel options. This expansion reflects our commitment at SWISS to providing top-notch services and extensive travel choices.”
The city of Bremen, already served during the winter from Zurich, will continue to be part of the summer timetable, showcasing its Old Town, landmarks like the Roland Statue, and vibrant arts and culture scene. Cluj-Napoca and Košice will also join the SWISS short-haul network in the summer of 2024, and increased frequencies will be introduced on routes connecting Zurich to various existing European destinations, including Alicante, Madrid, Naples, Venice, and Vilnius.
Oslo is a new addition to SWISS’s Geneva network, offering a mix of contemporary architecture, green spaces, and cultural attractions such as the renowned Opera House. The airline will also enhance its summer services to Copenhagen, known for its blend of modern Scandinavian design and historic charm, as well as Stockholm, featuring a picturesque setting spread across 14 islands with well-preserved palaces and historic Old Town lanes.
Travellers flying with SWISS in the 2024 summer schedules can also expect increased frequencies between Geneva and existing destinations like Athens, Brindisi, Brussels, Catania, Malaga, Palma, and Valencia. The expansion aims to provide passengers with a broader range of choices and underlines SWISS’s dedication to delivering exceptional services and travel options.
