IndiGo: Top 25 safest workplace at KelpHR PoSH Awards 2023

IndiGo, India’s foremost airline, has earned the prestigious distinction of being ranked among the Top 25 Safest Workplaces in India at the KelpHR PoSH Awards 2023. This marks the second consecutive victory for IndiGo, following its recognition in 2021, underscoring the airline’s unwavering commitment to fostering a secure and supportive atmosphere for its entire workforce.

The KelpHR PoSH Awards celebrate and commend organizations for their transformative and inclusive workplace practices in India, particularly in the realm of preventing sexual harassment (POSH). The esteemed jury for the KelpHR PoSH Awards 2023 comprised industry leaders, intellectuals, and subject matter experts, reflecting the high standards set for the evaluation process. In its fourth edition, the KelpHR PoSH Awards sought to empower organizations with insights and milestones for building safer, happier, and more inclusive workplaces, recognizing that true excellence goes beyond mere legal compliance.

Sukhjit S Pasricha, Group Chief Human Resources Officer at IndiGo, expressed humility and gratitude for the recognition bestowed by the KelpHR PoSH Awards 2023. The airline has established an internal committee dedicated to creating a benchmark environment where employees can flourish in a secure workplace. Additionally, IndiGo has introduced a resource group named ‘6E SAFE SPACE.’ The airline has a comprehensive policy framework covering all aspects of employment, including recruitment, training, working conditions, salaries, transfers, and career advancement. To ensure employees are well-informed, IndiGo conducts periodic workshops across different locations.

The evaluation criteria for the KelpHR PoSH Awards 2023 encompassed PoSH compliance, case handling, training and sensitization, diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, the internal committee, and workplace safety for both in-office and remote employees.
