Global travel surge due to border reopening of China 

With the opening of the borders of China, travel was greatly improved by a huge rush of Chinese tourists with a repressed demand for international travel. The data from Trip.com discloses a noteworthy rise in terms of outbound travel bookings, highlighting a six-fold rise compared to 2022 and year before. This trend is particularly vital during holidays, like the 8-day Golden Week during October which has seen an eightfold rush in outbound travel. 

This is a gripping introduction to a robust New Year Holiday season starting from 31^st Dec 2023 till 3^rd Jan 2024. It has been recorded a 240% rise in bookings year-on-year from 2022.
