Princess Cruises ends the year with 56 global awards, praised for its ships, itineraries, and innovative experiences by top travel organizations.
As this year draws to a close, Princess Cruises has garnered widespread acclaim from renowned travel entities globally. In the past couple of months alone, the company has been honored with 23 accolades for its fleet, voyage routes, onboard offerings, and technological advancements. Highlights include a Travel Weekly Reader’s Choice Award for Top Cruise Line in Alaska and a Cruise Critic Editor’s Pick Award for Outstanding Innovation, raising their total 2023 award count to 56.
John Padgett, President of Princess Cruises, expressed his delight at the recognition from these respected travel experts and looked forward with enthusiasm to 2024.
At the 21st Travel Weekly Readers’ Choice Awards, Princess Cruises secured four victories, acknowledging their exceptional offerings in the travel sector. They were celebrated for their prolonged dominance as the Best Cruise Line in Alaska, innovative Shipboard Tech through the MedallionClass Experience, the Princess Academy travel advisor program, and their advisor loyalty program.
The Travel Weekly Magellan Awards also recognized Princess Cruises, with four Gold and four Silver honors. The Discovery Princess was named the best Overall Premium Ship, and their onboard entertainment, South America & Antarctica itineraries, and the Princess Partners educational program were all Gold Award recipients. Their advertising campaigns and webinars were awarded Silver.
The 15th annual Cruise Critic Editor’s Picks Awards identified the best in the cruise industry, with Princess Cruises’ MedallionClass Experience winning the Best Innovation award.
During the 9th Travvy Awards, Princess Cruises earned four accolades, including a gold award for their Alaskan cruises and recognition in Asia and Hawaii destinations, along with the Discovery Princess being named Best Premium Cruise Ship.
The Porthole Cruise and Travel Readers’ Choice Awards and TripZilla Excellence Awards further honored Princess Cruises for their onboard technology and spa facilities, and the Diamond Princess was recognized for its cruise amenities.
The Cruise Ship Interiors Awards celebrated Princess Cruises’ design, particularly O’Malley’s Irish Pub for Best Casual Dining on a Large Ship.
In the UK’s Wave Awards, Princess Cruises was highly commended in the Favorite Premium/Luxury Cruise Line category. Similarly, in Australia and New Zealand, the Cruise & Travel Readers’ Choice Awards named Princess the Best Cruise Line Overall and Best Premium Cruise Line.
Finally, the Irish Travel Trade Awards in Ireland acknowledged Princess Cruises as the Best Premium Cruise Line, underscoring their reputation in the global travel industry.
