Durban, a city on the Indian Ocean in South Africa’s KwaZulu-Natal province, has been coined “The Holiday City” by locals. This is because year-round the city is open for business, with unparalleled tourist attractions to enjoy in any season.

First, visitors can explore Durban’s incredible beaches. Turn the corner and it’s an inviting white sand beach edged with palm trees and backed by a strip of vibrant bars, cafes, and restaurants. Cool winter days can be spent learning to surf or simply relaxing and sunbathing. For even more adventure, try friends and family activities like mountain biking, abseiling, and game fishing.
