Since December 2023, Ho Chi Minh City’s “A Culinary Odyssey Without Limits.” has captivated the world with culinary and cultural richness.
Ho Chi Minh City, renowned as a culinary paradise with its bustling street food scene, has initiated a global media campaign to showcase its exceptional and transformative cuisine. Guided by the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Authority since December 2023, this initiative has effectively seized the interest of a global audience with its captivating video titled “A Culinary Odyssey Without Limits.” This enthralling video has secured prominent airtime both during peak hours and throughout the day on prestigious television networks such as CNN Asia, Discovery, and the Asian Cuisine Network (ACN). Harnessing the influential reach of digital platforms and social media, the campaign ensures that tantalizing glimpses into Ho Chi Minh City’s culinary landscape reach a global audience.
Additionally, in November and December, the Heritage Guide spotlighting the culinary delights of Ho Chi Minh City is widely distributed on all international and domestic flights operated by Vietnam Airlines.
As the city fervently promotes its unique gastronomy, a handy guide is offered to navigate the famous food streets and markets. Let us uncover the hidden treasures nestled within these culinary havens, where dedicated street vendors passionately craft delectable dishes.
Located in District 1, the bustling Ben Thanh Market is renowned for its vibrant ambiance and diverse culinary offerings. Here, visitors can indulge in regional delicacies such as banh beo (water fern cake) and banh nam (flat steamed rice dumplings).
