Etihad Airways is excited to share the news of commencing A380 double-decker flights to New York JFK starting from April 22, 2024.

Regardless of the chosen cabin – Economy, Business, First, or the exclusive three-room suite, The Residence – passengers are assured of elevated service levels from the dedicated crew. The A380 aims to ensure that travelers, including corporate clients, arrive in the city that never sleeps feeling refreshed. This is a significant factor for all guests, especially those with business engagements, as the A380’s timing and comfort contribute to a rejuvenated arrival.
The decision to deploy the A380 on the popular New York route aligns with meeting customer demand for increased capacity, thus expanding the airline’s network. Notably, the commencement of the new route to Boston on March 31, three weeks prior to the A380 flights to New York, underscores Etihad’s ambitious growth plans.
The introduction of the A380 signifies a substantial boost to Etihad’s capacity in the vital US market, fostering connections to the wider GCC and Indian subcontinent. Additionally, it is expected to attract a greater number of visitors to explore the attractions of Abu Dhabi.
The A380 will operate on one of the two daily flights to New York, with the other daily flight serviced by a 787-9 featuring First, Business, and Economy cabins.
This marks the second destination, following London, to experience Etihad’s A380 since its return to service.
