In Minifootball 2023, Romania becomes the winner

The 2023 WMF Minifootball World Cup came to an exciting conclusion event in the attendance of His Highness Sheikh Saqr bin Saud Al Qasimi, Chairman of RAK Ceramics, with Romania being capped as the World Champions after experiencing this 10-day sporting event in Ras Al Khaimah.


His Highness Sheikh Saqr bin Saud Al Qasimi, together with Filip Juda, the WMF President, gave the award to the Romanian team, who won over Kazakhstan in the finals.


Kazakhstan secured the second position in the WC as the tournament’s runner-up, spotlighting excellent sportsmanship. Also, Hungary, the team that occupied the third-place also made a powerful impact on the tournament, heightening the respect of fans and competitors alike.


The remarkable closing ceremony rejoicing with the winners started-off with stunning performance done by Light Orchestra Ballerina and an exciting Football Parade that produced yet another reminiscence to treasure for the fans of minifootball around the world.


The Chief Executive Officer of Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, Raki Phillips, said cheers to Romania on its unbelievable performance. He also added that he would also like to express his thanks to all the nations that took part in it. Their cooperative efforts made this tournament super successful.
