Etihad Airways celebrates 20th anniversary

Etihad Airways, UAE’s national airline in November is observing its 20th anniversary and has declared a series of guest experience improvements to enjoy the milestone.

This month, the new inflight gastronomic menu of Etihad was rolled out on board with dishes enthused by the home of airlines, the UAE, along with personalized menus showing the places Etihad flies to.

Famous, signature dishes like the Arabic Mezze starter are supplemented by a wide choice of new main courses like slow-roasted duck, braised beef short ribs, and pistachio coated salmon followed by vanilla bean panna cotta, trio chocolate cake and other treats.

In Economy class, guests will be served with the new menu on the sustainable tableware of Etihad, all geared up with a closed-loop recycling system to remove waste. The ‘Dine Anytime’ cuisine will be served in Business class on tableware designed in collaboration with fabulous designer brand Armani/Casa which the airline started off in 2023 to raise the experience for its guests even further.

To the celebration, adding a bit of nostalgia, Etihad airlines has showed a suite of limited-edition facility kits for guests to relish on board during the anniversary. Etihad’s retro comfort style is inspired by the famous Etihad Airways 2003 aircraft livery in First and Business class.
