NYE 2024: Woods Shamshabad hosts its grandest forest camping extravaganza yet

This year has given us much to appreciate, and as we approach the end of 2023, it’s a wonderful opportunity to connect with nature and contemplate a year well-lived. In celebration of New Year’s Eve, Stonecraft Group is orchestrating its most extensive forest camping adventure to date.

This exceptional event unfolds in the world’s largest Miyawaki forest, offering a carefully curated festive experience. Collaborating with the forest, the innovative chefs at Ariko Cafe have fashioned a delightful feast. The festivities kick off on the evening of December 31, extending through the night to ensure guests fully immerse themselves in the enchanting surroundings.

Upon arrival at Woods, guests are greeted with refreshing welcome drinks and delectable high-tea snacks. The evening progresses with a live performance by The Band Elementals, creating an atmosphere conducive to dancing in the expansive open spaces. Bicycles are available for guests to tour the sprawling 60-acre property and explore the captivating 18-acre Miyawaki forest.

As night descends, an outdoor movie screening takes place in the crisp winter air, inviting guests to relax by the screen with blankets and recliners. The experience is enhanced with unlimited artisanal coffees and gelatos from Ariko Cafe, specially crafted for the holiday season at Woods.

A delightful surprise awaits with a thoughtfully curated menu exclusively designed for the New Year’s Eve Camping Village.

A welcoming bonfire beckons near the tents, providing warmth for a cozy evening before retiring. The gentle symphony of crickets and rustling leaves serves as the perfect ambient soundtrack. The next morning, wildlife photographer Sriram Reddy leads an insightful bird-watching walk through the forest, offering the chance to spot rare winter visitors. Guests are then guided to breakfast counters, where they can indulge in fresh Continental and Indian breakfast options—a fitting conclusion to a festive and immersive forest experience.
