The Times Square Alliance and Countdown Entertainment, co-organizers of Times Square New Year’s Eve, have revealed the lineup for the 2024 New Year’s Eve celebration.
Paul Anka and Flo Rida are set to perform for the live audience and will be part of the commercial-free webcast and TV pool feed. The broadcast will include exclusive interviews, original content, and hourly countdowns from the heart of the Times Square celebrations.
Actor and TV personality Jonathan Bennett, known for his roles in “Mean Girls” and hosting popular Food Network shows, will return as the host of Times Square New Year’s Eve. Joining him as co-host is Jeremy Hassell, an experienced live event and celebrity interview host.
The 15th annual webcast of Times Square New Year’s Eve will commence with the Ball Raising at 6 p.m. EST. Hosts Jonathan Bennett and Jeremy Hassell, along with street correspondent Andrea Boehlke, will launch the six-hour celebration, starting with the introduction of the star of the show, the Times Square Ball.
Flo Rida will perform hits like “My House,” “Low,” and “Wild Ones” during the Times Square New Year’s Eve celebration, debuting his new song, “OMG.” Sage the Gemini will join him for the performance. Paul Anka will sing “My Way” with updated lyrics and John Lennon’s “Imagine” just before midnight.
The Sino-American Friendship Association (SAFA) will present “Cheers to 2024 with Wuliang Harmony,” a vibrant Chinese cultural performance at Times Square to celebrate the Year of the Dragon. The evening will conclude with a surprise video appearance and performance by Fontainebleau Las Vegas after the midnight Ball Drop.

Special guests will join hourly countdowns, and Bennett and Hassell will provide updates on musical performances and entertainment in Times Square. The live webcast is available for embedding on digital media outlets and social media platforms, reaching over 2.3 million viewers from 200 countries last year.

Jamestown, owner of One Times Square, will offer the VNYE app for a virtual New Year’s Eve experience. The app allows global users to explore Times Square, play games, and livestream celebrations worldwide, including from the NASA Space Station. Various broadcast networks will cover Times Square festivities.
