oneworld: Voted best airline alliance 14 years running by Global Traveler

For the 14th consecutive year, the oneworld Alliance has clinched the title of Best Airline Alliance, as determined by the readers of Global Traveler. This victory solidifies oneworld’s standing as the top choice among frequent flyers.

The prestigious award was presented during the 20th annual GT Tested Reader Survey Awards, hosted by Global Traveler. The winners were celebrated at a gala reception held on December 13 at The Langham Huntington in Pasadena, Los Angeles.

Maria McKinnon, oneworld Director of Brand, Marketing, and Loyalty, expressed her delight in accepting the award on behalf of the alliance, stating, “We’re thrilled that once again, Global Traveler readers have acknowledged oneworld as their preferred airline alliance. Additionally, oneworld member airlines achieved notable success in various industry categories:

• Alaska Airlines Visa Signature Card from Bank of America secured its 12th victory as the Best Frequent-Flyer Affinity Credit Card and its fifth win for Best Frequent-Flyer Affinity Credit Card Benefits.
• American Airlines received its seventh accolade for Best Airline Website (aa.com), claimed the title of Best Airline for Domestic First Class, and was recognized for the Best Frequent-Flyer Customer Service through its AAdvantage program.
• Cathay Pacific was honored with the Best Trans-Pacific Airline award, Japan Airlines earned the distinction of Best Airline to Japan, Royal Air Maroc was voted Best Airline in Africa, and Qantas received recognition as the Best Airline in Australia and New Zealand.
