travel by air 2024

Airlines are preparing for a lively 2024 in a big step for the aviation sector, outlining plans for additional routes, increased services, and intriguing locations. As the globe slowly recovers from pandemic-related delays, airlines such as Aer Lingus, Etihad Airways, and British Airways are poised to reimagine long-distance travel experiences. This coming year is the best time to travel by air. Here are the few routes till now announced:

Aer Lingus expands to Denver and reintroduces Dublin-Minneapolis-St Paul Route

Aer Lingus has announced a new Dublin-Denver flight that will begin on May 17, 2024. This route, which operates four times per week, aims to improve connection between Europe and the United States, meeting the rising demand for transatlantic travel.

Aside from the Denver endeavour, Aer Lingus will revive its Dublin-Minneapolis-St. Paul route on April 29, 2024. The frequency of flights will grow to daily in October 2024, from four weekly flights now. The airline intends to use A321 XLR aircraft on this route, offering customers a comfortable and efficient journey.

Etihad Airways’ entrancing Flight to Boston

Etihad Airways is increasing its presence in the United States by launching a four-times-weekly service from Abu Dhabi to Boston on March 31, 2024. This is Etihad’s fourth destination in the United States, joining current services to Chicago, New York, and Washington, as well as flights to Toronto in Canada. This exciting route will be served by a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner outfitted with 22 business class seats and 271 economy class seats.

British Airways returns to Abu Dhabi and introduces new routes

British Airways will make a triumphant comeback to Abu Dhabi on April 20, 2024, with daily year-round flights. The service will be operated by Boeing 787-9 planes, providing customers with a smooth travel experience. This reactivation of routes demonstrates the airline’s dedication to restore its worldwide network following the epidemic.

British Airways, in addition to Abu Dhabi, has lately expanded its horizons with new thrice-weekly routes from London Gatwick to Accra, Ghana, and from London Heathrow to Riga, Latvia, giving travelers additional alternatives and more connection.

Air India’s ambitious international expansion plans for 2024

Air India, led by the Tata Group, is poised to embark on a wave of worldwide growth. With the addition of Phuket, Ho Chi Minh City, Boston, and Los Angeles to its broad network, the airline is well-positioned to offer travelers a diverse selection of destinations. The addition of these locations demonstrates Air India’s commitment to serve the changing needs of customers looking for both leisure and business travel possibilities.

Phuket and Ho Chi Minh City are set to join Air India’s route network in December, with narrow-body aircraft operations. Meanwhile, flights to Boston and Los Angeles will begin in early 2024, using leased Boeing 777 and Airbus A350 aircraft, guaranteeing long-haul tourists a comfortable and convenient experience.

As new and leased aircraft, such as A350s, B777s, and A320neos, arrive, Air India is poised to dramatically increase its fleet and further strengthen its place in the global aviation scene.

Growing opportunities for long-haul travel in 2024

With airlines announcing ambitious plans and new routes, 2024 promises to be a year of long-haul comeback. As the industry recovers from the pandemic’s obstacles, tourists should expect improved connections, intriguing new locations, and a restored feeling of adventure. Aer Lingus, Etihad Airways, British Airways, and Air India’s growth projects represent a collective confidence for the future of air travel, offering customers with a plethora of options and possibilities to see the world.
