Rex flyers: points now redeemable for flights

Rex Flyer members now have the opportunity to utilize their accumulated points for booking flights, extending to both Rex Airlines’ domestic routes and various regional destinations throughout Australia. This marks the completion of the second phase of the program’s rollout, enabling members to redeem flights using their points through three distinct flight reward options: Anytime, Getaway, and Ultimate.

Since its launch on 2nd October, Rex Flyer participants have been earning points – up to seven for every dollar spent on flights and up to five points for each dollar spent on specific Rex Extras, including additional baggage and seat selection.

Over the past seven weeks, more than 60,000 travelers have enrolled as registered Rex Flyer members, with membership being free to join. As an added incentive, new members signing up before 2nd January will receive a 5000-point sign-up bonus, while all bookings made before the New Year will accrue double reward points, irrespective of the travel date.

Under the Rex Flyer program, all unsold seats gradually become available for redemption at the lowest reward rate (Ultimate) starting 48 hours before a departure.
