Vedagiri Rajaram has been named as the new Director of Operations at the JW Marriott Kolkata.

Vedagiri, a seasoned hotel industry veteran with more than 15 years of experience. A dynamic professional, Vedagiri began his career as a Management Trainee at the Hotel Royal Orchid in Bangalore. Since then he has seen exponential growth with top tier hopitality businesses. He has held positions at prestigious hotel chains including the Oberoi Hotels & Resorts in Mumbai, The Leela Palace in Udaipur, Taj Hotels, Resorts and Palaces in Hyderabad, and Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel.

Vedagiri has a demonstrated history of managing thriving food and beverage operations, displaying impressive analytical prowess, routinely achieving high guest satisfaction levels, and leading efforts for revenue development and optimization.

Vedagiri has a broad range of skills, including the capacity to develop financial budgets by carefully examining past data and predicting future budgets, which helps to ensure the organization’s financial stability. He takes great satisfaction in improving the department’s and organization’s reputation by taking on difficult and novel jobs and constantly looking for ways to enhance his previous successes.
