In the global travel businesses, the majority of professionals claim that the sector has reached close to complete-recovery in 2023 since the pandemic 2019.
However, even as business travel has recovered quite nicely, the travel sector is looking ahead at the main areas looking for change and effect in 2024, with major stress in and around strategies related to travel cost management, sustainability, the alteration of retailing models, and the addition of emerging technologies.
This is as per the recent GBTA Business Travel Outlook Poll that was unveiled today by the Global Business Travel Association, the main trade association for the international business travel sector. The worldwide survey gives a deeper insight from the professionals of the industry on the present condition of business
travel and the significance and changes expected for the coming year.
More than 860 global business travel suppliers, buyers, and other industry stakeholders from almost 46 nations shared their visions for this 32nd poll in the long-running inspection sequences of GBTA.
Suzanne Neufang, CEO, GBTA said that with some exemptions, as an industry international business travel has constantly rebounded in the last year and has made adopted great steps in getting back to business as usual.
