Volato Incorporated, a distinguished private aviation company and the foremost operator of HondaJets in the United States, announced today a significant expansion of its fleet, marking a 50% increase to a total of 24 HondaJet aircraft as of December 2023. This growth involves the incorporation of three new aircraft in December, comprising two directly acquired from Honda deliveries and one placed under the management of Volato. The year 2023 witnessed the integration of a total of eight new aircraft into Volato’s HondaJet fleet.

The swift integration of these new aircraft into Volato’s operations reflects the execution of the company’s strategic plan for systematic growth. Volato’s growth strategy involves both direct acquisitions from Honda and partnerships with aircraft owners for management services. This approach has facilitated Volato’s expansion while upholding high standards in private air travel.

Matt Liotta, Co-Founder and CEO of Volato, emphasized the importance of the company’s measured and thoughtful approach to fleet expansion in achieving long-term sustainable growth. He highlighted Volato’s creativity and prudence in acquiring HondaJets from the open market and through factory orders. The recent deliveries enable Volato to enhance its capacity during a crucial phase of growth, supporting an expanding customer base.

The enlarged fleet enhances availability and flexibility for customers, a key aspect of the Volato experience. It enables the company to meet growing demand while prioritizing personalization and convenience. With an expanded fleet, Volato’s clients benefit from unparalleled access to aircraft, ensuring prompt and efficient service regardless of share size—a crucial advantage in the private aviation sector where availability is often a limiting factor.

Additionally, each new Honda aircraft delivery contributes to maintaining Volato’s fleet as one of the youngest in the industry. This commitment to fleet modernization ensures clients access the latest in aviation technology, comfort, and the enhanced reliability and efficiency associated with newer aircraft.

Looking ahead, Volato anticipates receiving 10 more HondaJet aircraft throughout 2024. The company has also entered into a letter of intent with HondaJet for its upcoming Echelon aircraft, set to be the first light jet capable of transcontinental flights.
