A couple of restaurants and bars in Caracas have decided to offer an eight-hour tour to increase their sales.
Caracas, one of the principal cities of South America known for its cultural scenario, is the capital city of Venezuela.
The city has experienced hyperinflation under the presidential terms of Nicolás Maduro, which brims with bars and restaurants. Now they are trying to recover from the inflation-stricken situation.
Venezuela happens to strive to be the main hub of the nation in terms of commerce, industry, education, and culture. In addition to offering a sample assortment of food and drinks, they plan to greet guests through two restaurants and seven bars.
In addition, Caracas is home to some of Latin America’s tallest skyscrapers, including the Parque Central Towers. In addition to fostering simple cuisine, the tour plays a crucial role in facilitating transportation between the locations. Furthermore, this gives the customers a smooth experience.
The city has been estimated to have a population of about 6 million people. Restaurants and bars that make up the Route of Pagan Temples have started an initiative that is distinctive in its entirety.
This was unprecedented since the government decided to relinquish control over the economy in 2019, as restaurants and bars continued to suffer from inflation.
Freddy de Freitas, the owner of a Spanish food restaurant in Caracas that dates back to being 40 years old, told the media that it was an attempt to save the bars.
The de facto dollarization authorized by President Nicolas Maduro mandated breathing spaces relating to businesses, which helped a bit despite the inflation.
The nine-venue tour will begin in de Freitas’ Spanish restaurant, where visitors can come down to savour the tapas (appetizers) that are inclusive of potato tortillas and croquettes. Following that, they can use private transportation to travel to other locations.
