AAR CORP, a leading entity in delivering aviation services to both commercial and government operators, MROs, and OEMs, recently inked a multi-year contract extension and amplification agreement for flight-hour flight-hour component support services with ASL Aviation Holdings DAC (ASL Airlines).
This agreement not only prolongs but also broadens AAR’s existing component support arrangement with ASL Airlines Belgium to encompass ASL Airlines France, ASL Airlines United Kingdom, and ASL Airlines Ireland. Currently servicing 28 ASL aircraft, AAR anticipates supporting 65 aircraft under the terms of the new agreement. The 24/7 component support services for the airlines’ Boeing 737 fleets will be provided by AAR’s Integrated Solutions segment.
James George, Head of Procurement at ASL Aviation Holdings, expressed, “For over a decade, ASL has experienced the proven excellence of AAR in delivering flight-hour support services and associated cost efficiencies, ensuring the punctuality of ASL’s operations. We are excited to enhance our partnership with AAR by including additional ASL airlines.”
Chris Fiddes, Vice President of Commercial Programs at AAR, highlighted, “AAR’s strategically positioned warehouses and support teams expedite component delivery, reducing maintenance turnaround times for ASL. We eagerly anticipate expanding our relationship as ASL continues to grow and modernize its fleet.”
