Taiwan Tourism Administration discloses new incentive program

The Taiwan Tourism Administration is entrusted for promoting tourism to the cosmopolitan island destination internationally, presents two recent incentive programs with an intention to draw greater number of international visitors.


These comprise on-arrival lucky draw competition, where travelers from abroad can enter to grab cash prizes, and for transit and transfer travelers, introduction of free half-day tours.


These programs are part of the wider £9.7billion (NT$380 post-pandemic economic retrieval package of the government and looks for strengthening the position of Taiwan as a well-known world travel destination while shining a limelight on its wide-range of offerings related to tourism. 


To fascinate more and more visitors from abroad, Wang Kwo-tsai, the Minister of Transportation and Communications, formally introduced a new lucky draw competition. It was called “Taiwan the Lucky Land.” The independent travelers coming from abroad, who are planning to visit Taiwan, between three to ninety days, can take part in this competition online for a chance to grab £127 to supplement their spending in-country, as part of this campaign.  


To enter, eligible travelers coming from overseas must register online at the minimum 24 hours before their arrival and within seven days before their scheduled arrival. Upon arrival, tourists can go to the dedicated areas in airport terminals where they can get their unique QR code scanned to see if they have
won or not.
