Hosted by IFEMA Madrid, the 44th edition of FITUR is all prepared to kick-start from 24 th January and continue till 28 th January 2024 at the trade fair centre in Madrid. As per the director, FITUR, María Valcarce, the viewpoint for the succeeding edition is appearing quite optimistic and all things pin points toward the trade fair increasing to occupy over 140,000 m2 of space in all 9 halls, attracting more than 9,000 companies together and more than 150,000 professionals from the tourism sector from 145 countries. Also, it is calculated that in the weekend, almost 100,000 people will come to FITUR. Data that already placed FITUR as the vanguard of the important international tourism fairs at the last edition.
As per the Chairman of the Executive Committee of IFEMA, Jose Vicente de los Mozos, they are hugely proud of the world leadership of FITUR. It’s the only tourism fair that continued nonstop during the COVID times, exceeding every other crucial event on the international circuit, in regard to participation.
The important connection between the UK ad Spain has improved tourism between the two countries in all these years. In spite of recent encounters, over 15 million tourists from Britain chose Spain as their destination in 2022.
