AirAsia is celebrating the recent groundbreaking announcement of visa-free travel from India to Malaysia with great enthusiasm. In response to the Malaysian government’s latest decision, Indian citizens can now enjoy visa-free travel to Malaysia, which is expected to ignite a surge in travel demand to this beautiful destination.
This development signifies a significant milestone in strengthening the bonds between the two nations. To commemorate this occasion, AirAsia has unveiled plans to enhance inter-country travel, including the launch of a new route to Thiruvananthapuram starting on February 21, 2024. Additionally, the airline has introduced special fares for flights between Malaysia and India, along with a remarkable increase in services. Beginning in the first quarter of 2024, there will be a total of 69 weekly flights and up to 1.5 million available seats annually for travelers between Malaysia and India.

These destinations include Chennai, Tiruchirappalli, Kochi, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata, and soon Thiruvananthapuram. One-way fares start at just RM189, making it an enticing opportunity for globetrotters. Indian travelers looking to explore Malaysia can fly directly to and from Kuala Lumpur from any of these routes for only INR4,999, opening the door to Malaysia’s other exciting attractions from the capital city. Travel under this special offer is available from now until September 30, 2024, allowing guests to experience the rich cultural diversity, stunning landscapes, and vibrant cities of both Malaysia and India.
