Appellation, co-founded by Christopher Hunsberger and the famous American chef, Charlie Palmer, welcomes Jennifer Clay as the newly appointed Vice President of hotel operations of this culinary-first hotel brand. Ms. Clay, in this new role for the brand supervises the experience of the guests and implementation all over the properties of Appellation to give pleasure to the guests, make long-term trustworthiness, develop content creation and solidify the best market positioning.
Over the next five years, Appellation is set to open multiple hotels, she will work in close tandem with the Co-Founders and Chief Operating Officer, Christopher Hunsberger to describe the standards and touchpoints of guest experiences, develop brand partnerships and handle the Crafted at Appellation immersive learning program, among her other duties.
Jennifer shares the vision of Appellation for providing genuinely local and culinary-infused experiences via approachable luxury, said Hunsberger.
Christopher also added that as Vice President of Hotel Operations, she is quite keen to create memoirs and networks for their guests and surrounding communities, maintaining their three trademarks – ‘Place Defines Us,’ ‘People Power Us’ and ‘Food Connects Us’ at the front of everything they do at Appellation.
Clay beforehand managed multiple roles at Pineapple Hospitality Company, the most recent being the Vice President of Brand Assurance. Her earlier experience comprises working with Mandarin Oriental Hotels, The Peninsula Hotels and similar luxury global hotel brands.
