Abigail Delia Clark has been appointed as Head of Events Sales at Edinburgh events venue, The Hub. Abigail comes with 20 years of work experience in sales, events and hospitality, including ten years at Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa. She brings with her a wealth of expertise in national and international sales, events, and MICE tourism.
Located at the top of the historic Royal Mile, The Hub is one of Edinburgh’s most dramatic venues. The magnificent Grade A-Listed building is renowned for its integration of contemporary design and facilities within classical Victorian architecture. It has a richly decorated Main Hall, elegant Dunard Library and vibrant Cafe Hub, which are ideal for exhibitions, special events gala dinners and weddings that demand a flexible space and creative edge.
As a part of her latest role, Abigail will lead the team promoting the venue as one of Edinburgh’s premier private events spaces and play a key role in achieving the company’s growth goals. She will also work towards building on the venue’s outstanding reputation for service and delivery to delegates. Prior to her latest appointment, Abigail worked with local DMC, Atlas Travel Solutions, setting up and establishing the MICE side of the business. She holds an extreme passion for the hospitality sector and specifically food and drink.
Sharing thoughts on her latest appointment, Abigail mentioned in a recent press statement that she is incredibly excited to join an iconic venue as The Hub. She mentioned that she is looking forward to working with the team and contributing to position the venue as one of the best private event locations in the city for corporate and social events, including conferences, private dinners and weddings.
