Heathrow connects with another China city by summer

heathrowHeathrow  will add another destination in China this summer after flights to Wuhan start.There will be  three flights a week to the city from May 30 by China South.

 

 

Wuhan is  located 300km to the west of Shanghai and Hangzhou and straddles the Yangtze River, turning  it a regular stop for river cruises.

 

 

In 1920s it was the country’s capital and the main city of the Hubei province with population of 11 million.

 

 

 

China Southern  will departing Heathrow at 22.10 and arriving the next day at 15.35 and will fly to Wuhan on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

 

The departures from China at 14.25 will be on Airbus A330-200 with arrival at 18.45 the same day.

 

Wuhan will be Heathrow’s sixth China destination. China Southern is a Skyteam member with its major hub in Guangzhou and the  commercial city it also serves from Heathrow

 

Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Qingdao is also offered by the airport.
