Conrad Maldives Rangali Island is thrilled to present the Undersea Academy, an innovative three-day educational adventure tailored for children aged 5-12. This program seamlessly combines education and enjoyment, aiming to instill a profound appreciation for the ocean in young explorers.
Embarking on this captivating journey, participants will be introduced to the wonders of the ocean. The inaugural day unfolds with a captivating Marine Biology session at the resort’s kids club, Majaa Explorers Hub, followed by an enchanting visit to the world’s first Ithaa Undersea Restaurant. As children descend five meters beneath the sea, the 180-degree acrylic dome provides a mesmerizing view of fish swimming overhead, offering a unique glimpse into the aquatic world. The excitement continues on the second day with an exhilarating glass-bottom boat tour, bringing the mysteries of the deep to life with an up-close encounter with vibrant sea life. The concluding day challenges young explorers to apply their newfound knowledge in a fun and interactive session, culminating in a graduation ceremony to celebrate their passion for the marine world.

Priced at US$150++ per child, the program runs from Monday to Wednesday at Majaa Explorers Hub until February 28, 2024. This enriching three-day experience promises to be an educational journey in one of the world’s most exquisite locations for sea life.
Beyond the academy, Conrad Maldives Rangali Island invites its younger guests to further adventures, including sports, games, arts and crafts, culinary workshops, snorkeling trips, and a bubble maker class where kids can learn the basics of scuba diving. The resort’s Marine Biologists also host regular talks about its coral adoption program, providing an opportunity for younger guests to understand the importance of corals in the ocean’s ecosystem.
