Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) unveils ‘New Year, New Legend’ themed fireworks at Victoria Harbour, showcasing a grand pyrotechnic display to ring in 2024 with a spectacular audiovisual experience.

As 2023 draws to a close, the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) is set to host an unparalleled “Hong Kong New Year Countdown Celebrations” to ring in 2024. This event promises to be the most spectacular and extended New Year countdown firework musical display ever witnessed in the city. Set against the globally-renowned Victoria Harbour, the 12-minute spectacle, aptly named “New Year New Legend”, will stretch a remarkable 1,300 metres from Central to Causeway Bay. This surpasses any previous event in Hong Kong in terms of both magnitude and duration. Launched from five barges in the harbor, the fireworks will immerse viewers in a mesmerizing journey through the seasons – winter, spring, summer, and autumn. This audio-visual extravaganza will range from shimmering silver snowflakes to vibrant summer colors.
