The Lufthansa Group’s airlines have laid out plans to recommence their Tel Aviv flights on January 8, 2024. In the initial phase, Lufthansa Airlines intends to provide four weekly departures from Tel Aviv to Frankfurt and three weekly flights to Munich. Austrian Airlines is gearing up for eight weekly connections to Vienna, while SWISS is preparing for five weekly flights departing from Tel Aviv to Zurich. This initial phase will see the Lufthansa Group airlines collectively offer a total of 20 weekly connections to and from Tel Aviv, equivalent to approximately 30% of the standard flight schedule. These services will be operated using Airbus A320 family aircraft.
This flight schedule presents advantageous transfer options for travelers moving between Israel and North America through the Lufthansa Group’s key hubs in Frankfurt, Munich, Vienna, and Zurich.
The official flight schedule is set to be unveiled on Monday, December 18, 2023, with bookings available from that date onward.
Safety remains a paramount concern for the Lufthansa Group airlines, who maintain a vigilant watch on Israel’s security situation, maintaining close communication with local and international authorities. It is important to note that adjustments to the flight schedule may be necessary in response to evolving conditions.
It’s worth mentioning that Lufthansa Group Airlines suspended their regular Tel Aviv flights on October 9, 2023.
