Today, the American Hotel & Lodging Association and IncentiFind have declared about a new partnership that would help over 30,000 members of AHLA to identify sustainability-related cost savings.
IncentiFind, a well-known green building incentive database, provides over a half million incentives, comprising grants, tax credits, fee waivers, discounts, and bill credits. These profitable credits help in the execution of green measures like renewables, water preservation, energy efficiency, and more, which are all focused at dropping bottom-line prices for hoteliers.
AHLA members as part of this partnership, will get special estimation on IncentiFind’s VERIFY Report, which recognizes important discounts and savings for asset upgrades, like buying energy-efficient appliances or installation of solar panels.
The partnership of AHLA with IncentiFind is the recent measure toward the association that has taken place to develop sustainability through the hotel industry under the Responsible Stay program, that emphasizes the commitment of AHLA members to water conservation, waste reduction, energy efficiency, and responsible sourcing.
AHLA and the Hotel Association of Canada, in September 2023, signed a letter of intent to create a joint venture company. This will own and work toward the Green Key Global certification system in the U.S. and Canada. This company will help in encouraging the use of a system that provides hotels an eco-rating on the basis of the main metrics like water conservation, energy, waste management, and others.
