For boosting local tourism and highlighting the cultural multiplicity of India, Indian Railways, in association with the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), would be operating
another Bharat Gaurav tourist train from Pune.
The Bharat Gaurav tourist train supports the initiatives of the government of India, ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ and ‘Dekho Apna Desh.’ Both aims to uphold domestic tourism and nurture harmony among diverse regions in India.
The Bharat Gaurav tourist train will start its 10-day trip from Pune on 22nd June this year and will stick to a rounded course, letting tourists discover the rich legacy and mystical spirit of north India. The train will pass through important cities comprising Ujjain, Mathura, Agra, Rishikesh, Amritsar, Haridwar and Vaishnodevi before coming back to Pune on 1st July 2023.
In the course of the trip, tourists will get the chance to visit numerous celebrated allures. These comprise the esteemed Omkareshwar and Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, the holy Krishna Janambhumi in Mathura, the famed Taj Mahal in Agra, the Golden Temple in Amritsar, the mystical city of Rishikesh with its charming Ganga aarti, the well-known Wagah border, and the respected Vaishnodevi Temple.
