Sharjah to have a new adventure tourism destination soon

Shurooq, Sharjah investment authority, is getting all prepared for more actions with a new tourism project on adventure in Khorfakkan. In the fourth quarter of 2023, the said project is hoped get completed. It will feature a giant swing, zipline, a dry-slide track, mountain bike tracks, hiking tracks, with other facilities.

The destination will have an observation deck along with a restaurant on the mountain top as well. It offers a magnificent view of the landscape, along with the adventure track routes. The current CEO, Shurooq, Ahmed Al Qaseer, has recently disclosed about the details of the adventure project. It’s developed adjoining to Khorfakkan’s Soueifa Mountain.

Al Qaseer explained that the project enhances the extensive portfolio developed by Shurooq. It provides solutions to the constantly growing tourism demand on the East Coast. The unique location of the said project brings entertainment, leisure, sports and adventure together at one destination, he added
