The government of Western Australian has recently declared the launch of an event named – EverNow to strengthen the events calendar of the state and helps generate jobs and enhance local economy. This new domestic event is a free festival to rejoice the distinctive nature and aboriginal culture of Western Australia. This event will run from 4-9 October.
Three key elements highlight the event – Fire Gardens, Song Circle, and Boorna Waanginy: The Trees Speak. This event has been developed by Perth Festival. It will be organized in all the iconic locations to celebrate the indigenous culture and heritage of Western Australia to the fullest. The bold reimagining of Boorna Waanginy: The Trees Speak will take place in Kings Park which in 2017 and 2019 had successfully attracted 300,000 people when it was opened in Perth Festival.
Boorna Waanginy: The Trees Speak will change Kings Park with a huge exhibition of sound, light, and projections, narrating the Noongar culture stories and the loveliness and SouthWest Australia’s biodiversity. The supreme court gardens will organize song circle. It’s a live performance and a festivity of Noongar dance and songs, set in a future-aimed immersive wonderland.
Also, the doors to Government House Gardens will be opened to the public as it will get changed into Fire Gardens.
