Portuguese football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has launched his fifth hotel in the Moroccan city of Marrakech.
The Manchester United superstar already owns the Pestana CR7 Lifestyle hotel chain which has branches in Lisbon, Madrid, New York and at his home island, Madeira.
Ronaldo’s latest luxury hotel in Marrakech has 174 rooms. The price of the rooms range from approximately £158 (approx Rs 15,746) to £372 (approx Rs 37,067) per night.
The rooftop pool area of the plush hotel offers a bird’s-eye view of the nearby Atlas Mountains.
Ronaldo said when he opened the first hotel with the Pestana Group in 2016, their ambition was to create an international brand.
Since that first milestone in Madeira, followed by Lisbon, they have expanded to Madrid and New York.
Marrakech represents his connection to a country he is passionate about, and where he is always made to feel most welcome.
The footballer is known for his health eating habits and it is learnt that that his new hotel will have a menu focused on healthy foods and drinks.
