Effective December 1st, ITA Airways will operate its new Airbus A321neo daily on the Rome Fiumicino – London Heathrow route. Departing from Rome at 2:00 p.m. and arriving at London Heathrow by 4:30 p.m., the service offers a convenient schedule for travelers.
Additionally, during the Christmas period from December 22 to January 9, ITA Airways will deploy the A321neo with three daily frequencies on the Rome Fiumicino – Paris Charles De Gaulle route. The flights feature departure times from Rome at 8:35 a.m., 3:05 p.m., and 9:30 p.m., with corresponding return flights from Paris at 6:10 a.m., 11:45 a.m., and 6:10 p.m.
Originally slated for the Rome Fiumicino – Tel Aviv route, the A321neo’s deployment was adjusted due to current geopolitical circumstances. The aircraft represents the latest addition to ITA Airways’ all-Airbus fleet, showcasing innovation, efficiency, and Italian design.
The A321neo features a three-class configuration—Business Class with 12 lie-flat seats, Premium Economy with 12 seats, and Economy with 141 seats (including 12 Comfort Economy seats). Designed by Walter de Silva, the interiors embody Italian elegance and prioritize passenger comfort.
The cabin’s lighting system offers six scenarios, adapting to different flight phases, enhancing the overall in-flight experience. The sophisticated In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) system includes on-demand video and audio entertainment with touchscreen displays for all seat classes.
The A321neo’s Wi-Fi connection enables passengers to stay connected during the flight, offering a range of connectivity options. With more than 20 percent lower fuel consumption and CO2 emissions per seat, the A321neo aligns with ITA Airways’ Sustainability Plan, aiming for a 90 percent next-generation aircraft fleet by the end of 2027.
