Kenya is aimingarrival of10 million foreign tourists in the course of next five years, stated a tourism official.
Francis Gichaba, who is the chairperson of the Kenya Tourism Board, said that Kenya will line up its marketing ingenuitiesso that they can realize the goalslowly by 2027.
Kenya witnessed 1,483,752 tourist influxeslast year.
Gichaba said that the Kenyan tourism segment is one of the most importantmainstayspredictable to certainlyaffect lives from the lowest points. Hence, they have no other choice but to perform well.
Gichabasaid that Kenya’s best year in terms of performance was 2019. It witnessed around 2.05 million entrances. The Kenyan government has already initiated a number ofplansfor deliveringmotivatedarrivalnumbers.
In the course of the first two months of this year, Kenya listed 293,440 international tourist influxes, increasing from 184,228 witnessedduring January-February last year.
