Worldwide business event customers, sellers, and media flock together at the Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME), a trade show. The megaevent AIME is scheduled for 2024 on February 19–21, 2024, at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.
More than 500 exhibitors are projected to participate, which led to a rise of more than 40% over AIME 2023.
With over 160 foreign buyers travelling to Melbourne in February for AIME 2024—a 51% increase over AIME 2023—more than 600 hosted buyers are expected to attend.
Twenty-seven nations will be present at AIME 2024. Convention bureaus, hotels and resorts, convention centres, production, unique venues, audiovisual companies, destination management companies (DMCs), airlines, cruise lines, suppliers from all states in Australia, and international destinations such as New Zealand, Japan, Africa, Fiji, Macau, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Korea, Singapore, USA, Canada, Germany, Italy, Malta, Norway, Spain, UK, Vietnam, and more are among the exhibitors.
The remarkable expansion provides further evidence of AIME’s enduring history, its significance to the business events sector, and the APAC region’s relevance to the worldwide events industry.
New zones, such as The Boutique and DMC Network, can be integrated into the expanded show floor, and some exhibitors who have never displayed at AIME can make their debut. Designed as a special area for the world’s boutique experience providers, The Boutique will feature operators like boutique wineries that are independently owned and have tiny, cozy spaces, luxury venues with a focus on design and unique services, and other experiences that are highly customizable and customized.
Additionally, there will be a special area at AIME reserved for Destination Management Companies (DMCs) called the DMC Network. Teams operating on the ground throughout the globe will come together in this area, and they will be in a prime position to curate experiences specifically suited for conferences, incentives, and events in their locality.
AIME will be instrumental in providing spaces on the show floor, which will feature meetings that will be devised on the spot. Alongside this, it will be effective in facilitating more opportunities relating to networking across the three days concerning the event.
Silke Calder, AIME Event Director, told the media that the excitement to welcome business events community back to Melbourne in the year 2024 is paramount.
