Travel And Tour World: What is Hotel Treats in reality?
Kasia Pankowska: Hotel Treats is a platform that helps hotels, sells experiences such a Sunday brunch, tasting menus to local residents and many things more to add to the list. We are not just about traffic but making the most of your hotel facilities by selling them to the local residents.
Travel And Tour World: How does Hotel Treats work?
Kasia Pankowska: We aggregate products from luxury hotels and make them best possible for marketing for example managing social media.
Travel And Tour World: What is your area of business? Which countries are your clients from?
Kasia Pankowska: At the moment our clients are predominantly from Spain and Portugal as we cover all these markets. We are headquartered at Mallorca, Spain. We are happy to extend to Italy and Germany and will definitely pick up speed in 2023.
Travel And Tour World: Can MICE operators be benefitted from Hotel Treats?
Kasia Pankowska: We increase hotel revenues immediately by helping themselves, sell gift vouchers and experiences to local residents. But what that means is when local residents come only to have breakfast, there is a good chance that they will come back, want to organize a wedding reception or recommend the hotel as a place to stay.
Travel And Tour World: Where are you based now?
Kasia Pankowska: We are based all over Spain. Currently we are working with 250 hotels in Spain and Portugal.
Travel And Tour World: What is your next target market?
Kasia Pankowska: We are now talking to five-star and the best of the 4-star hotels as our source markets.
Travel And Tour World: Do you review properties?
Kasia Pankowska: We don’t review properties as such, however, people who purchase experiences sold by us, we review each of those. We gather feedback about hotel experience purchased on our website through our own backend or Google review.
Travel And Tour World: Do you have any plan to expand your property to the Middle East market?
Kasia Pankowska: We are thinking about expanding our market to the Middle East. It would be dream come true for us. There are difficulties in terms of regulatory issues and payment procedures. We automate all the payments so that hotels do not have to worry about counting gift vouchers. Certainly, in the Middle East this is pricey than it is in Europe and the US.
