In order to help streamline the provision of tourism and entertainment licenses and permits in the governorate, the Royal Commission for AlUla recently launched a portal for these services.
The RCA received the Cabinet approval for the portal and thanked the government for its support to showcase the nation’s culture, art and history, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
The RCA can issue licenses for travel and tourism agencies, accommodation, tours, and the management of facilities.
Earlier, the CEO of the Royal Commission of AlUla, Amr AlMadani, during an exclusive interview with Arab News, said that it is preparing the groundwork to receive 250,000 tourists and visitors in 2023 to AlUla.
AlUla is a rich destination of human and natural heritage in Saudi Arabia. One of the attractions of AlUla is its weather, which is slightly more relaxed than many other parts of the Kingdom during the scorching Saudi summer.
As a result, it is a popular location for visitors keen to enjoy outdoor activities such as cycling, camel riding, swimming or hiking during the day and stargazing at night.
