After a massive blockade in the streets on Monday, 50000 more people joined the protest as per the Fuel Price Stand Against Tax organisation. The endeavour is to grab the attention of the government. The protest for the hike is going on for about a decade. But this time the protest is getting bigger shape.

Ashley Fowler, 24 the leader of the delivery driver hit back last night at Priti Patel’s threats about installing new police forces for the gathering. Mr Fowler also said that it is the power of the people that is interrupting the government. This statement was issued on July 22. He stated that it is not possible to arrest all of them together. Thus, they are using the power of the people.

Mr Fowler also added that the group’s activists are prepared to bring the motorways blocked across the country. additionally, special forces will try to block all the roads and highways. They believe this will create pressure on the government.

He said that the protesting team has plans to bring the entire country to stand still until their point is heard. According to Mr Fowler, the entire group is prepared to make the country suffer if their demands are not met.

Mr Fowler expressed his concern that if they do not take any action then the entire decision-making will turn towards the government’s sake. They also stated that they want to stop the government from working.

For doing this, it is the common man’s power that they have chosen. The group might even take hastier decisions for the protest in future if calls are not answered, they told the press.
