Tourism growth would be alike across all regions in the Philippines

Christina Garcia Frasco, the Secretary of the Department of Tourism said that as part of the Marcos government, tourism growth would be equivalent across all regions since the division is intensifying its cruise tourism range in 2024 to comprise ports of call in Cebu.

Frasco, who dignified the Congressman Duke Frasco Friendship Ride and Run occasion at the picturesque Santiago Bay in Camotes Group of Islands in Cebu of late, highlighted the feasibility of the believed cluster of islands as a perfect spot for sports tourism and even for cruise tourism.

Frasco said that sports tourism comes with a lot of prospective in the Philippines due to the attractive places where proceedings can be organized, comprising this long expanse of beach in San Francisco.

Besides this, the island comprises tourist allures in the adjoining towns of Tudela, Pilar and Poro.

Frasco added that with the help of sports tourism, they can provide all tourists, whether local or worldwide, a prospect to explore Camotes.

The event witnessed around 1,000 cyclists and sprinters.
