Domestic and overseas travelers could now get in touch with a one-stop call center that could take care of their travel-related apprehensions.
This emanates as the Department of Tourism (DOT) introduces its first-ever and integrated multi-platform Tourist Assistance Call Center in an event in the office of the agency in Makati City.
Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco said that the effort of the DOT is to make sure that they endure to deliver ground-breaking facilities to the sector that agree to the demands of their consumers and clients.
Frasco said that they predict that by delivering this tourist support call center, this will increase the tourism understanding. She herself made the first call on the hotline.
Frasco became the first client of the call center agent enquiring about diving in Mindanao, regarding which the agent based in Angeles City, Pampanga replied to her queries.
Primarily, eight tourist support agents confident in English and Filipino along with two quality guarantee
team associates and two instructors will work on the DOT scheme.
