The annual tourism show of the city – The 2023 Shanghai Tourism Festival, is all set to attract travelers and locals worldwide. It would be arranged between September 16 th and October 6 th 2023. On Thursday, the local culture and tourism authorities confirmed on the same.
A flock of several important stunning cultural and tourist activities will be introduced all over Shanghai during this time of the year.
Across diversified fields, starting right from catering and housing to sports and shopping, these activities will be spread over and will draw attention to tours on the Suzhou Creek and Huangpu River, along with a local famous structural design, insubstantial cultural heritage, performances, and discovering the city, as per the Shanghai Administration of Culture and Tourism.
With a float parade, the festival will kick-start which will return after two years, with the floats doing a tour in and around the Dishui Lake found in the Lingang New Area during the vacation time of the National Day.
During the festival, a boat parade will insert a dash of color to the Huangpu River. There one can find almost everything, from guofeng-style, or the conventional Chinese style fashion, bazaars and music festivals to a forest festival, there will be something for everyone In 12 cities in Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Anhui, Jiangxi and Fujian provinces, sub-venues for the festival will be set up.
