    As 2023 draws to a close, the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) is set to host an unparalleled “Hong Kong New Year Countdown Celebrations” to ring in 2024. This event promises to be the most spectacular and extended New Year countdown firework musical display ever witnessed in the city. Set against the globally-renowned Victoria Harbour, the 12-minute spectacle, aptly named “New Year New Legend”, will stretch a remarkable 1,300 metres from Central to Causeway Bay. Launched from five barges in the harbor, the fireworks will immerse viewers in a mesmerizing journey through the seasons – winter, spring, summer, and autumn.
